Camp Kesher has proven to be an incredible place for your kids (ages 8-16) to draw closer to Yeshua and closer to the wider Messianic community. We endeavor to reinforce the training and teaching that our campers receive at home and in their local congregations. From Mishkan (chapel) worship and teaching to Hebrew Moments where we teach them about various aspects of Jewish culture, the whole week is planned to help the campers make kesher or connection with their Messiah and the Jewish culture.
Many campers over the years go deeper in their spiritual walks and many, many campers have decided to follow Yeshua for the first time while at camp. These are the reasons we do Camp Kesher.
When kids see their peers from other cities worshipping and learning in the same ways they do in their city, they begin to think. While Messianic Judaism is a relatively small movement, they realize they are not alone, and they are encouraged to seek Yeshua for themselves in a safe and familiar atmosphere.
Needless to say, we also have a lot of fun from the ropes course, the challah making, the arts and crafts, pool games, horse-back riding, archery to the epic steeple-chase—the campers will be happy and exhausted by the end of the week!
