We had an amazing start to Camp Kesher 2019! This is one of our biggest years ever! We opened up on Sunday as our campers arrived and settled into their cabins—our last camper will arrive from Israel tomorrow. This year, we have campers and staff from throughout the United States and from Israel. Our first mishkan (chapel) service was highlighted by a talented worship team and an introduction to our theme for the week—“L’Dor v’Dor, Leaving a Legacy!” We chose that theme because this is the 125th anniversary of Chosen People Ministries and it is a priority to leave a legacy for the next generation. Our speaker, Robert Walter, shared from Colossians on how what we do matters, and therefore everything we do, including our words and deeds, should glorify God. Then, after some late-night snacks, we had a swim.
