Thursday was amazing! The day started with calisthenics, prayer, and breakfast. After breakfast it was off to the cabins for morning devotions. Thursday morning’s verse was Jeremiah 29:13. So far the Bible memory is going great! After devotions the campers headed to Mishkan for some outstanding worship, and a Yiddish moment brought to us by Israel Cohen. Then it was off to the challenge course in the woods, horseback riding, and tie-dyeing their new camp t-shirts.
After lunch the campers went to their last day of electives because the next few days special activities are planned. Although storms were threatening, everybody stayed safe and had a great time. After Dinner on Thursday night we were back to the Mishkan with some powerful, anointed worship. One of the boys in the youngest cabin said, “When the music of God comes on, it doesn’t beat on the outside, it beats on the inside.” Then Robert Walter shared on Daniel Chapter 7 as he told us about God’s love for each camper, naming them by name. Thursday night ended with two separate campfires, one for the boys and another for the girls. The campfires were amazing as the campers gathered around the campfires, singing praise songs, and sharing from their hearts. The highlight of the night was when one of the campers accepted the Lord into her life.
