Camp Kesher East is back at Tel Hai Campgrounds, and we could not be more excited. As the sun shone brightly, the energy was contagious. The campers eagerly registered and were assisted by counselors to bring their belongings to their cozy cabins. Inside each cabin, the campers bonded and unleashed their creativity by coming up with unique cabin names. It was a blast to see them work together to create cabin name posters and proudly display them outside their cabins.
During free time, some of the lively campers gathered for some high-energy fun, engaging in thrilling games with great enthusiasm. Later, the Mishkan (chapel) service was an awe-inspiring display of worship as campers actively participated, singing and dancing freely. Their love for the Lord was evident in their actions, and it was heartwarming to see. The opening message of the service, centered around the theme “Follow Me,” was deeply moving and grounded in biblical references, like the story of Simon and Andrew (Mark 1:16–18).
The night concluded with an unforgettable traditional night swim, with the campers reveling in the novelty of swimming under the starlit sky with just a few lights illuminating their path.
